Ethics Statement & FAQ
I’ve gotten questions lately about My channel and though it isn’t the largest on YouTube I truly value the relationship I’ve built with my community over the past year.
This is my attempt to ensure that when someone is on my channel they know who they are dealing with. We are nothing without the sanctity of our reputations, so this is my attempt to define mine.

Why do you do this and what do you get out of it?The answer is simple, I am in love with learning. The guests I host are people who I feel are worthy of some exposure, especially those that are relatively unknown to most. If you have learned something or gotten some entertainment out of watching, then I've done my "job". Education is important and maybe, just maybe, someone will be motivated by a guest to do something extraordinary or out of their comfort zone. That makes this worth the time and money.

Do you have Sponsored Content?“Sponsored” content is extremely rare on my channel. In fact, so rare, I've yet to have any and have no plans of having any. : ) All of the equipment I use for my podcast is purchased. If something were to be sent in to try, I'd disclose that as well.

How do you choose guests?I choose guests based mostly on what interests me. If you have been watching my channel, then these are people you find interesting too!. Also, there is no set amount of postings per month. I do them as time permits. There is no pressure or return favor for a guest.

What are the principles that guide you as you produce the show?Great question. Not in any order they are: I try very hard to not express my opinion on topic(s) where I have no expertise. I reserve the right to publish or not To ensure guests feel treated fairly I offer them the chance to preview the video and thumbnail before it's public. I do not accept payment for any interview I do not accept any funding including Patreon etc. This is to remove any bias I try to only edit "uh", "Oh's" and other stammers. I do this so viewers can hear all that was said without context being lost. I try very hard to avoid politics and religion. Unless my brother is a guest. :) Those topics will be edited out with a sympathetic view for not losing context While it usually makes sense to include certain links in video descriptions or social media posts, I retain full control over what is shared on my accounts across all platforms. I’m more than happy to let others share my videos, as long as the post links directly to the original video uploaded to my YouTube channel. My videos may not be re-uploaded. I do not guarantee any number of views or any amount of audience engagement on any videos or content. I do pay an editor for the videos and designer for thumbnails
Thank you for taking the time to read and understand my Ethics Statement. This probably doesn’t cover every possible scenario under the sun, but it should give you a pretty solid idea of how highly I value the integrity behind what I do and my relationship with the community.
